Brazilian farmer Antonio Vilas-Boas says he was taken aboard a landed craft
October 16, 1957 · Sao Francisco de Sales, Minas Gerais · Sighting · Secondary sources only
Antonio Villas Boas, a young farmer working alone at night near Sao Francisco de Sales, Minas Gerais, said that early on 16 October 1957 an egg-shaped craft landed, his tractor stopped, and small beings in tight grey suits took him aboard, where he had a sexual encounter with a woman with non-human features. He pointed to marks on his chin as proof. He kept the same story without profiting from it, became a lawyer, and died in 1991.
Why it matters (3/5)
One of the earliest abduction claims, reported years before the Hill case and widely retold.
Caveats
There is no material proof. Skeptics suggest exhaustion, sleep paralysis or a hoax drawing on magazine stories of the time. Accounts differ on whether it was the night of 15 or 16 October.
