A Flying Objects Report from the USAF 918th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron at Prince George, British Columbia, dated 13 November 1953, says that at 03:15Z on 8 November (the evening of 7 November local time) two airmen guarding a B-29 at Prince George Airport saw what at first looked like a falling star. It was a round white light with a blue tint, about the size of a basketball at arm's length, blinking once a second. It came down to about 150 feet above the ground and held still for about 30 seconds, rose straight up about 300 feet, stopped for nearly 10 seconds, then climbed away to the west. They heard a humming sound for about two seconds. The sighting lasted about four minutes on a clear, moonless night with no air traffic in the area.
